Current Skincare Routine
Overall skin type: dry with a side of rosacea :’)
I used to be able to use whatever I wanted on my skin, but as I've gotten older, I've found that bad reactions are much more common for me. Because of this, I'm much more mindful of the ingredients in my products, and I definitely use the "less is more" approach in my skincare routine.
Below is my current skincare routine + what has been (finally) working for me:
A.M.
+ I wash my face with the Honest Beauty Gentle Gel Cleanser with Chamomile + Calendula. I use the smallest amount of facewash in the mornings and have found it works best for me. It helps me stay dewy without over-stripping any natural oils.
+ I used to let my face air dry after washing it, but I recently got the Clean Skin Club Towels as PR, and I’m sold on them. For moisturizer, I’ve recently been loving the SoonJung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream. And of course, you can never forget sunscreen. This one works best for me and my sensitive skin, it works well under make-up, too, IMO!
P.M.
+ I'll use cotton balls and some micellar water to remove any make-up. This is the one that works best for me. After that, I'll double-cleanse, always!
+ After washing my face, I use the innisfree Green Tea Seed Hyaluronic Serum before layering the Green Tea Cream on top - and when I'm super tired, I'll cocktail the two.
On the days that I’m feeling extra dry, I layer a thick bit of the Torriden DIVE IN cream for a little overnight situation.
Things that have been saving my dry skin lately:
+ Sonya Dakar Organic Omega Oil + the Biodance Overnight Hydrating Mask. * I don't actually sleep with the mask on because, it turns out, it gives me claustrophobia. lol
Let me know if you try something I recommend and love it (or hate it) or if you have sensitive skin and have a product that you love and think I should try.
